Studio Policies 

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS

A POLITE REMINDER that behind every self-employed person is nobody else.

There's no team, no admin, no one else to cover for us if we get sick or can't work.

This is our livelihood. We have to pay, just like everyone else.

My cancellation policy is there to protect my time and my income. 

If you cancel your appointment at short notice, or messed up your calendar/schedule, I'm afraid that's on you.

I can't afford to take the hit if you miss your appointment, and nor should I. So please don't ask.

The answer is there are no exceptions to my cancellation policy.

Remember there's a hardworking person behind every small business who values their clients and loves what they do.

24 HOUR NOTICE EXPECTED ~ 

Less than 12 hours, a cancellation fee of 50% of the missed session is required.

Cancellation day of session a full payment expected.

CANCELLATION ~

  • Stay home if you are not feeling well.

  • Cancel your appointment if anyone in your household or workplace is sick.

  • Because of the close contact by nature - bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illnesses.

  • Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. 

  • If you are feeling fine, but living with someone who is ill - we can meet virtually for a Long Distance Healing session.

 

OFFER YOUR TIME IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL  ~  

It would be a great help to me if you offer your scheduled session time to a friend or family member. 

Please understand sometimes it is hard for me to re-fill your scheduled time, especially with a last minute cancellation.

Any assistance on your part is greatly appreciated.

ARRIVE  ~

10 MINUTES EARLY TO FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK AND/OR DISCUSS YOUR GOALS FOR THE SESSION. 

PUNCTUALITY ~

IMPORTANT AS A COURTESY TO ALL. SESSIONS END AT THE APPOINTED TIME EVEN WHEN THE CLIENT IS LATE, AND THE SESSION IS FULL PRICE.

CLEANLINESS ~

IS ESSENTIAL for the proper application and absorption of products.

FOOD ~

BEST NOT EAT WITHIN 2 HOURS OF SESSION

PAYMENT ~

IS EXPECTED AT THE END OF EACH APPOINTMENT. CASH, CHECK, VENMO, ZELLE

GIFT CERTICIATES ~

Are legally honored for five years of the purchase date issuance.

Exception gift certificates given by Petra's Wellness Studio for charity donation have a one year expiration date from issuance.

The same courtesy applies to the 24 hour notice of cancellation policies mentioned above.

ACCURATE RECORDS ARE KEPT AND REVIEWED PRIOR TO EACH SESSION

PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY ARE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES ARE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES

PLEASE LIMIT NEGATIVE CONVERSATIONS

Self-care is not a luxury; it is a fundamental necessity. It is a practice of nurturing your mind, body, and spirit to show up fully for yourself and others.

You cannot pour from an empty cup - tending to your needs is not selfish, it is essential for living a life of balance, purpose, and joy.
